The Tauferer Ahrntal valley and its alps and summits of the Rieserferner mountain group is still an untouched and quiet place. For hikers there are a variety of options, from a pleasant hiking tour to an alp to high level climbing tour on the mountain tops.

Many ways lead to the mountains

Underneath the high summits of the Tauferer Ahrntal valley our guests will find hiking trails and high routes leading to mountain lakes and refuges. The rough beauty of the mountain world and the flowering nature will be in sight wherever the hiker goes. Don’t miss the trip to the waterfalls of Rein! More than 80 mountains of 3000m height

For your extreme mountain experience you can choose among Hochgall, Magerstein or Schneebiger Nock. These summits are only for highly qualified and well-trained alpinists.

A bicycle ride through the mountains

Wherever you are bound for, on the even bikeway to Bruneck, on the mountain passes or up to the alps: bikers will find a variety of bike trips and single-trails through the woods and pastures. Several bicycle rentals will provide the right equipment.

A nice place to visit!

The castle Burg Taufers is one of the most beautiful castles of South Tyrol and offers guided visits. Another adventure you will never forget is the visit of the galleries of the mine of Prettau on the mining chart. Children from 4 upwards will have much fun on the Klausberger-Flitzer, a bobsleigh on rails. Those who want to spend a sunny day outside can go for a swim in the outdoor (and indoor) swimming pool Cascade in Sand in Taufers.
